Product Design & Packaging :: Your packaging has to do some pretty heavy lifting. It must grab the audience in a cluttered environment with thousands of products competing for attention. Shelf talkers, point of sale displays and sampling mechanisms, fight for attention when the consumer is in taskmaster rather than browsing mode.
• A pack on a shelf has approximately 3 seconds to grab the audience’s attention.
• The store shelf is the first, last, and potentially only time to facilitate a purchase decision.
• Packaging generates impulse purchases.
• A typical package generates 570 million impressions each year.
Below are a few examples of packaging that I believe are representative of the brand experience. More samples are available upon request.
