Vehicle Concept Renderings :: Automotive design is the development of the appearance and ergonomics of motor vehicles, or more specifically road vehicles. I am responsible for the initial design of the exterior of the proportions, shape, and surfaces, of replacement parts or 'body kits' for vehicles. Exterior design begins with a series of manual drawings, followed by progressively more detailed drawings. In most cases, the drawings continue thoughout the moulding process to quickly evaluate modifications to the design. The vast majority of the sampled illustrations eventually became complete show cars for SEMA or other promotional events. All of the below drawings were created using a mix of traditional and digital illustration techniques. In most cases, a sketch was done by hand, then scanned in and colored digitally using a Wacom Cintiq 21UX and or 12WX tablet.
