Drawings & Sketches :: While there are drawings that are finished artworks, drawing is often exploratory, with considerable emphasis on observation, problem solving and composition, often as a means of preparation for a painting, print layout or even website layout. The ability to draw is crucial in the problem solving process, whether you are creating a new product, or explaining an idea to clients.
All of the below drawings were created using traditional illustration techniques including pencil, pen & ink, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencils and airbrush. There is a mixture of drawings from life and from photographic references. This group of images represents a select few that I believe to be exceptional within their contexts.
